From ABO’s beginning in 2011, it’s been one of our core beliefs that the music we play belongs to all of us – it’s our communal property, cultural inheritance from the past that should be available to anyone who wants to experience it. Put simply, no one should be shut out from the arts because they lack the means to pay for a ticket. Because of this, we are proud to offer “Pay As You Can” tickets.
These tickets are available only at the door, are sold on a first-come-first-served basis, and are available until the venue is full. Keep in mind that some of our venues, like Mission Concepción in San Antonio, are quite small, so be aware that fewer of these tickets may be available depending upon where the concert takes place.
When you arrive at a concert, simply let the ticket table know you would like to purchase a pay-as-you-can ticket, and name your price. No judgement will be passed, and no questions will be asked. This music is for everyone, and we will not exclude anyone interested in our programs simply because a ticket is not within their means at the moment. For any questions, please contact us via email.
